Net Life Sciences is a nightmare
to most of the students. It is generally classified under those subjects that
can prevent the student from finishing his course. This implies that the numbers
of students who are passing this subject are very less and most of them would
take multiple attempts. The sleepless nights the students take to finish this
exam would describe the difficulty of the question paper. In fact it's not the
problem with question paper difficulty but the vast amount of syllabus. The
huge syllabus that has to remembered in a short span including huge equations
makes things really difficult.
The net life sciences study
material is itself huge in size including so many topics in it. The syllabus is
so vast and the student has to read each and every chapter in a detailed manner
to clear it in the very first manner without any difficulty. The UGC Net Life
Science question paper has hundred and forty five questions which are quite
long to finish it in the given time. So the student has to be on his marks and
rush right from the moment the exam starts.
The question paper is divided
into 3 sections or three parts as Part-A, Part-B and Part-C. The Part-A
consists of twenty questions from 1 to 20. The Part-B consists of fifty
questions numbered from 21 to 70. The Part-C is the biggest one and has seventy
five questions numbered from 71 to 145. All the questions are Multiple Choice
Questions. Everyone who is attempting the exam should answer a maximum of 15
questions from Part-A, 35 questions from Part-B and 25 questions from Part-C.
If more number of questions are answered then the first set of questions from
each Part are considered. So in the given time of one eighty minutes we have to
answer seventy five questions choosing the best ones that can fetch us maximum
marks.
To succeed in such an exam one
has to excel in knowledge and also should have some strategy in choosing the
questions. It is an exam where a correct answer from part-A and part-B can
fetch us 2 marks and a correct answer from Part-C will fetch 4 marks. On the
other side a wrong answer can make us lose 25 percent of the allocated marks to
that question which puts problem to students who are taking it. There has to be
a strategy along with immense amounts of knowledge in order to crack this exam.
This strategy can be developed only either with personal experiences or one can
get it from coaching institutes. CSIR Net
Life Science Coaching has got some huge recognition after its name for its
unique way of teaching both knowledge and strategy.
